PROPERTY SPOTLIGHT WITH ADELE
Wed 11 Mar 2026
This weeks property spotlight is with Adele, one our excellent and experienced negotatiors at Martin Flashman & Company from the Weybridge branch in Surrey.
She has chosen "The Paddocks" as her Property Spotlight. Adele discusses her perspective on what makes this Weybridge home so special. The conversation explores her thoughts on the property’s potential for modernisation and extension and the features that make it a standout family home.
Q1.
Adele, this home sits on a fantastic plot. Can you tell us a bit about the setting and what makes it so special?
“Absolutely. The property occupies a wonderful plot of between a quarter and a third of an acre, tucked away towards the end of a peaceful no-through road within the highly sought after Ashley Park Estate in Weybridge. It’s a really private and tranquil setting, with the rear garden backing onto other private gardens, which gives it a lovely secluded feel”
Q2.
What would you say is the biggest opportunity this property offers for buyers?
“Without a doubt, it’s the potential. The house already offers generous accommodation, but it also presents a fantastic opportunity to modernise and significantly extend, subject to the usual planning permissions. With a plot of this size in such a prime location, buyers could really create something quite special here”
Q3.
Tell us a little about the living space on the ground floor.
“The ground floor is really versatile. There are three reception rooms, one of which is currently being used as a fourth bedroom if needed. The principal reception room is particularly charming with windows on three sides and double doors opening out onto the garden, which allows the room to be flooded with natural light. The dining room also enjoys lovely garden views, creating a very bright and welcoming space for entertaining”
Q4.
And the kitchen area looks like a great family hub?
“Yes, it’s a spacious kitchen and breakfast room that overlooks the rear garden, which is always a lovely feature. Adjoining the kitchen there’s also a very practical utility room with direct access to the garden and a door leading to a private enclosed courtyard that connects to the tandem length garage”
Q5.
Finally Adele, who do you think this property would appeal to the most?
This will really appeal to buyers who are looking for a home they can make their own. With three good sized bedrooms upstairs, three reception rooms downstairs, beautiful features like the herringbone timber flooring, and a generous plot in such a desirable part of Weybridge, it’s perfect for someone wanting to modernise, extend and create a long term family home.
