From standout academic results to local sports victories, our young achievers are showing that hard work and dedication pays off.
A great reason for families to move to these fabulous areas!!
A Glimpse into Our Educational Heritage
Dame School, ~1650 (Baker Street)
The very street that Martin Flashman & Co opened its doors to its second office, is the same street that the first recorded school in Weybridge was born, a modest Dame School founded around 1650 on Baker Street. Run from a private home, it welcomed just 12 children, teaching them the basics of reading, writing, and sewing. At a time when education was largely reserved for the wealthy, this tiny classroom offered local families a rare chance to give their children a start in learning. Though simple in setting, it marked the birthplace of formal education in the town, planting the seeds for the thriving schools we see in Weybridge and the surrounding areas today.

Roots For Learning, Foundations for Living
Education in Weybridge has come a long way since the first Dame School opened on Baker Street around 1650. Over the centuries, schools grew into the vibrant, well equipped institutions we see today, helping shape strong, family focused communities in Weybridge, Walton, and Hersham.
For Martin Flashman & Co., this legacy matters. Great schools are at the heart of what makes these areas so attractive to homebuyers and renters. Families choose to settle here not just for beautiful homes, but also for the excellent education, fast transport links to London and the sense of community that has been built over generations.
